Associate of Science to Health Science
An opportunity to gain an associate degree from Delaware Tech and a bachelor's degree from Neumann University.
Your Path to a Bachelor's Degree
Delaware Tech has established agreements with four-year colleges and universities that connect Delaware Tech associate degree programs with bachelor's degree programs to create smooth transfer opportunities for you. These Connected Degree programs enable you to complete your associate degree and then transfer to a four-year degree program as a junior.
The Connected Degree 2+2 Curriculum
Delaware Tech's Associate of Science General degree program is a transfer degree designed to prepare students to either transfer internally to the College's existing nursing and allied health programs after competitive admission requirements are met or to transfer to a four-year institution upon completion. The curriculum provides students with a foundation in biology, chemistry, physics, and/or mathematics supplemented by electives in English, humanities, and social sciences. Neumann University's Bachelor of Science degree program in Health Science (HS) is designed to prepare students with the knowledge and skills established by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) to become a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) or the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), to become a Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP). In addition, the HS Major prepares those students interested in graduate programs in areas such as Athletic Training, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Physician's Assistant. Utilize, through competent practice, the cognitive knowledge which are required in strength and conditioning and/or clinical exercise physiology.
