Your Path to a Bachelor's Degree
Delaware Tech has established agreements with four-year colleges and universities that connect Delaware Tech associate degree programs with bachelor's degree programs to create smooth transfer opportunities for you. These Connected Degree programs enable you to complete your associate degree and then transfer to a four-year degree program as a junior.
The Connected Degree 2+2 Curriculum
Delaware Tech's Business Administration Transfer (BAT) Program provides the foundational coursework necessary for successful transfer to nationally-ranked four-year colleges of business accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). The BAT Program provides the high-level preparation in general education needed for upper-level coursework at these universities as well as the necessary foundation for a business education. Delaware State University's accounting program prepares students to think strategically and perform complex analysis of real-world business problems. Through a combination of classroom lecture and hands-on experience, students develop the professional skills and knowledge to succeed in this profession, while obtaining a foundation to pursue credentials such as: certified public accountant (CPA), certified management accountant (CMA), and certified internal auditor (CIA). Delaware State University offers a five-year, 150-hour program in which students earn both an undergraduate accounting degree and an MBA/CPA degree. The MBA/CPA prepares students to sit for their CPA exam during the year while completing their MBA.
