Delaware Tech has established agreements with four-year colleges and universities that connect Delaware Tech associate degree programs with bachelor's degree programs to create smooth transfer opportunities for you. These Connected Degree programs enable you to complete your associate degree and then transfer to a four-year degree program as a junior.

The Connected Degree 2+2 Curriculum

The Criminal Justice: Homeland Defense and Emergency Management Option prepares students for entry-level careers with local, state, and federal law enforcement and emergency management agencies as well as corporate organizations. Courses offered provide a basic understanding of the techniques and processes for emergency preparedness, management, response to and recovery from man-made and natural disasters. In addition the program provides students the foundation for transfer to public and private institutions to complete the requirements for a bachelor's degree. Wilmington University's Bachelor of Science degree program in Behavioral Science prepares students to enter and advance in careers within the human services field. Positions may be found in various settings, including community mental health centers, social agencies, business, and government. Upon completion students may continue their education at the graduate level in social work, counseling, criminology, psychology, or sociology.
