Your Path to a Bachelor's Degree

Delaware Tech has established agreements with four-year colleges and universities that connect Delaware Tech associate degree programs with bachelor's degree programs to create smooth transfer opportunities for you. These Connected Degree programs enable you to complete your associate degree and then transfer to a four-year degree program as a junior.

The Connected Degree 2+2 Curriculum

Delaware Tech's accredited associate degree program in Histotechnician prepares students to integrate theoretical knowledge with the completion of human, animal, marine, or plant tissue specimens for research or diagnostic purposes. Students learn to perform complex molecular biology and genetic testing procedures using high-tech instruments. Along with employment opportunities in the medical field, histotechnicians may work in other fields including botany, marine biology, and pharmaceutical research. Graduates may sit for the Board of Registry American Society for Clinical Pathology Certification Exam. Wilmington University's degree completion program in Health Sciences is for Allied Health practitioners who have earned an Associate's Degree with an Allied Health concentration. This degree is intended for students who have an interest in healthcare roles which provide managerial, educational, and/ or clinical expert direction as well as attracting those students on a pathway toward graduate study. The Health Sciences program intends to stimulate continued professional development and advancement toward graduate education.
